Fair Play in Enrollment
I was there preparing for my entrance exam, when a girl popped in and said something which totally discouraged me to study for my exam. What she said was - she has a “so called good bonding” with this powerful person of this party, and it would be easier for her to get into the institution. And I was standing on the ground and became like, "why I am putting all my efforts into it when I know that my name won't be seen on the board?"
This is the only thing that has been bothering me since a week. My exam's after five days. And I have no such powerful people in my link that would help me to get admission in that particular institution. It's not that I don't believe in my studies. It's nothing like that. But what's the use of studying all day and night just to know that despite having capacity and passion you won't be enrolled in that institution?
The rooted problem I see is the lack of knowledge of accountability in the students, administration or in the education system of our country itself. Each year, in most of the institutions, there are many capable students who are not enrolled in them. It is not always because of their carelessness. I would rather say, it is because of biasness. Its like, if you know someone from the administration of that place, you get to do whatever you want to. To be more precise, if there is biasness, unjust and foul world rises. And what is next? All you would start to do is follow the direction of the powerful one and be a faithful puppy wagging your never used wisdom, because this can be the only most convenient and easy way to get into that institution for you.
Not to forget, there is a saying “Charity begins at home.” If the students are taught in such an environment where there is no fair play and impartiality, then we can imagine the festered picture of what it would look like when they reach in the high ranking positions in the future. Whatever it is, the bottom line is, this is why our country has been leading the billboard chart of corrupted countries. Had there been a just environment since the past, our high level ranking officers or delegates would be fair, and educated in "real sense". The institution itself is neither being accountable nor showing true accountability with its students. On the other hand, this actually motivates the students to unfollow the fair path and choose the shortcut and unfair path more.
So that's it! This is how it works! But still, with my optimistic angel always being on one of the shoulders of mine, I just hope everything goes fair and fine for my enrollment in that institution.
